An Oregon Christmas part 1

This year we had a family reunion for Christmas. It's the first time my siblings have all been together for something like 12 years. It's also the first time my mom and her siblings have been together in longer than that. My brothers hadn't yet met my sister's daughter and none of the grandkids had met my mom's folks. It was a momentous occasion and a once-in-a-lifetime event and I'm so very glad it could happen. Of course, there was one tiny thing I forgot to pack - the charger for the camera battery!!! Ugh! So most of the pictures will have to wait until everyone else sends me copies. But here's what we got:
We stopped at Multnomah Falls on the way in. Great chance to stretch our legs and enjoy the beauty of Oregon.

Seth didn't want to be left out of the action and often fell asleep in my lap from exhaustion.

My brother and dad sporting their hairy faces!

My cousins Jordan and Nathan - the girls LOVED them!

Christmas morning! Grandparents and grandkids in their matching jammies.

My siblings and our kids. Yay!

The girls in their Christmas dresses. They were sure the best of friends all week!

(Amber, if you and Todd want me to take any of these pics down, you'll have to let me know)

Pictures to come: cutting down our "Charlie Brown tree" at my Grandpa's formerly tree farm; the Christmas party with my mom's family, opening presents and other misc pictures. The trip wasn't without it's drama - Seth screaming for hours in the car, sibling squabbles, kids in time-out - but it was a great trip!!! And I swear I gained 5 lbs from all the delicious food! More in the next post!...
