Oh Liam!

My baby is 18 months old. This kid is seriously accident prone! He is an all boy, all in, never looks before he leaps, tough little monster. We have been seriously considering getting him a helmet! He will walk off or leap off the edge of the bed or couch or any surface he is standing on, high or low. I have a feeling the ER staff will know us well one day. I promise we don't beat him or leave him alone in rooms full of weapons or something!
He also has the most terrible temper!!! When he doesn't get his way, he reacts with violence: throwing whatever is in his hands at the moment at the nearest available target. Frequently that means he slaps poor Happiness.
But he is a funny and affectionate little boy too. Since he was a little baby he has been giving out hugs in droves. He's just starting in on kisses. He loves to snuggle and be held. He adores his siblings! He has the funniest laugh, throwing his head back and slapping his knee and everything! And while he crashes more than twice as often as his siblings ever did, he cries less than half as often too. I'm loving watching him grow up, but I miss holding my sleeping tiny baby.
He isn't talking yet at all, so Kids on the Move are back in our home again. They are going to love working with this smiley kid as much as they loved working with Seth. :)

Liam is doing well with nursery. He's been going with mommy and daddy in tow for a couple months and he did great his first time in alone this last week.
He still needs a couple teaspoons of miralax a day in order to poop without pain, but I am glad something works for him! He is such a happy, smiley kid. Probably because the first part of his life was so filled with pain that life's little bumps and bruises don't mean anything in comparison.
We certainly love our little Liam!
