We're FINALLY ready to go have some fun! First stop: Animal Kingdom.

Chad and the kids' first time to eat at a Rainforest Cafe' - very cool place. Lots of real fish and tons of cool fake animatronic aminals. It's like eating under the canopy of the rainforest.

Welcome to Africa!

What else do you do but go on Safari?!

crocs

giraffe

elephants

endangered something or other; extinct in the wild

Pocahontas! (who was not on the safari)

Sakura finally gets to meet Stitch and give hime a hug, just like we promised her.

Riding the shuttle.

Hollywood Studios!

Had to meet Mickey!!!

Took a quiz on what Disney character you're most like, and Sakura was LADY. :)

Toy Story ride. There were giant toys and games, one of them being this funny Dr. Malpractice game we just had to get a picture of Chad with.

And me with one of the Army guys.

And we can't forget Buzz - although we didn't make it to see the actual characters - this is just a statue at the toy store in downtown Disney.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area - awesome!

Everywhere looked like hollywood sets and sometimes we were confused as to what was real and what was a prop. Can you tell?

Beauty and the Best mini broadway show.

The Little Mermaid interactive show - lights, bubbles, water spray - it was fun.

Getting ready for Magic Kingdom.

meeting Rosetta

Tinkerbell!!! Sakura was so excited, she hugged her to the ground. Afterward, she was shaking and looking at her arms in disbelief. Sooooo cute! At the end of the day, just before the fireworks at the castle, there is a slideshow of pictures from people that day. There was a great pic of Sakura tackling Tinkerbell that we're going to have to buy because it showed up nice and big during the slideshow. :)

Tinkerbell's nemesis Vidia.

Cinderella the first time.

Belle the first time.

Aurora the first time.

Pooh's house.

The pooh bear ride - yay!

Chad in the stocks. Guess that's what he gets for being a pirate.

Prince Sethling chewing on his sword during our lunch at Cinderella's castle. We met Cinderella on the way in and got pictures.

During lunch Sakura got to meet all the rest of the classic Princesses, like Snow White,

Sleeping Beauty,

Ariel,

and Belle.

We had a 3 course meal, with princesses, a wishing ceremony, wishing stars, magic wands and swords, and a fantastic experience!

We even got to visit my friend Molly who works at the Pirates' League. It's where little boys can get all decked out and become "real" pirates. There is something similar for little girls to become princesses elsewhere. Molly gave Chad and I honorary pirate names - Robert Pondwater and Elizabeth Ropewalker.
We had a great time. I'll have to blog about our adventures getting there and back though - less fantastic, but probably more funny.

Awesome! Looks like you guys had a blast.
BTW, one of the major perks of living in UT is that you get to experience all the best parts of CA without ever having to live there. Disneyland is only like a 10 hour drive from Provo with potty and play-place breaks... so you have that to look forward to in your future as well.
Cute! Looks like you guys had a blast! Those are impalas btw ;-)
What a fun trip. I'm so glad you guys got to go and enjoy yourselves. The Tinkerbell story is hilarious. I'd love to see the tackle picture. Congrats on eight years, you two!
I love all the Disney pictures! What a fun time for you and those cute kids. Love you all!
