After a nap, we went to some friends (Lindsays') for their "Easter Egg Bash." There's a donut eating contest (donuts on strings, no hands) and an egg fight (dye and name your egg and pit him/her against the other eggs in a championship fight.) It was fun.
Then we went back home where we had a seder (passover) dinner. The neighbors backed out at the last minute so we had more food than we needed, so we just ate the roast lamb and vegetables. (thanks Morrills and most of the Griners for coming!) We saved the matza-ball soup for lunch today and the plan is to have fish and honeycomb for dinner (Luke 24:42).
This morning Sakura got her goodies from Gabi and Tache (thank you! Chad loved the Zelda egg game) and got in a cute little dress for church. She did well in nursery (yay!) and we really felt the spirit in Primary today when Sis. Lindsay taught some Easter songs to the kids. It's been a very nice holiday, and we were lucky enough that Chad was off for all of it. (He starts on the night shift tonight though. Bleh.)
