Christmas Gifts

Everyone asks every year "what do you want for Christmas?" Here's a way I can answer everyone at once. And family - if you would respond also, then we'd all have 1 place to look for answers to that question. :) Fat chance anyone will do it, but I can try! Hope you find this list helpful. Go ahead and ask questions if you want.. maybe I'll answer them. ;) Really though, don't go worry about what to get us - we are well and happy and love our wonderful little life out here in NC. We have more than enough and just hope to hear from all of you during the holidays. This list is just so you don't bug me. ;)

Things we could use:
a car stereo (ours was stolen)
plasma tv (that would be nice!)
desktop computer (aren't any of you rolling in money?)
kid-proof tv stand/unit (good luck finding one of those)
Christmas ornaments/decorations
money and gift cards are always welcome (but make sure the store is here or we can use it online!)
WARNING: for those planning on having me carry gifts back from Houston, please be mindful of size and weight as I will only have one bag to check (the second is the car seat).

Chad:
"Scrubs" seasons 3 and on
music (moody blues, coldplay, pink floyd, lorena mckennit, u2, the cure, the shins, depeche mode are favorites, so... good luck)
books (gospel topics are nice)
Wii (ha!)
chess set (nice/decorative but still playable)
he has an old gift list on amazon - check that
dress shirts and ties for work - blues or white for shirts (or whatever), solids or simple patterns for ties. my favorite kind of ties are the solid shiny kind (i have purple, silver and black already).

Sakura:
Elmo anything
Pooh anything
doll stroller
kid puzzles
dress up stuff (shoes, boas, jewelry etc)
books
anything that plays music when pressed
things with letters or numbers
kids camera
kids flatware
things she can share with Happy - like dog biscuits!

Natalie: (the double-whammy)
booklight (that takes regular batteries, not button ones!)
scrapbook stuff (esp. baby girl themed)
more sleep.. what time am I posting this list? maybe I don't need that booklight
free babysitting! (for a baby girl, in case you were wondering)
craft table
bigger couch :D
books (fantasy, humorous, escape fiction!)
music (I like country)
ear plugs... maybe some for the neighbors too... because of the baby, not the music! it's not THAT bad
new towels? green?
nativity scenes are always nice
thinner waist line (does that come in a box or a bag?)
kitchen stuff - whisk, mini-muffin pan, knife sharpener, measuring cup, mixing bowls
I also have an old list on amazon

BTW - don't feel like you have to buy anything brand-new. We are proud owners of second-hand (or third of fourth...) items and enjoy things with history and character. We don't take offense at re-gifting or giving us something that used to be yours that you no longer want (as long as it's not just a way to pawn your junk off on us but is really something you think we'll like.) We are frequent shoppers of antique stores, thrift shops, garage sales, ebay and craigslist. So, moms and dads - stuff from our childhood wrapped up and given back to us is ok (unless it's already ours and we just forgot it there.)
