July has seen a lot of activity at our house, and I captured very little of it on film! Grandma came out for a short visit, Chad and I celebrated 10 years of the day we met with the Beach Boys, Gabi and Tache came, Aunt Amber and Megan and Hunter came, there have been lots of friends, activities, holidays (4th of July, AF Steel Days, Pioneer Day), and tons of birthdays! (Grandma - June 21st, Tache - July 13th, Amy - July 22nd, Austin and Julie - July 24th, Hunter - July 25th, Great Grandma Vidinha - July 30th) and Chad is still studying whenever he can for his board exams in August. Here's what my camera managed to get...
| wearing Gabi's hat - she looks like a little southern belle! |
| Tache's birthday (his cake looks funny because it's half carrot and half red velvet) |
| doggie reunions need toys to destroy! |
| Sakura and Rachel - cousin of the neighbors' |
| Seth helping Chad to study |
| Provo river |
| bridal veil falls |
| the water was freezing! |
| look how high we climbed! |
| my pioneer girl befriended some Indians |
| but apparently she got in trouble with the law |
| with her cousin Megan |
| Seth ADORED his cousin Hunter and LOVED being part of all the action and one of "the guys" |
| our baby birds hatched and grew up, |
| learned to fly and left the nest. a second round of eggs are laid though!! |
It has been a fun-filled month, which these pictures have barely even touched on. There was even a fire in Alpine, about 10 min from where we live! I am ready for a break and some normalcy! The kids have stayed up late waaaay too often and of course then, so have I. We are all a little lacking on sleep! Right now Grandma is home, Amber and kids are on their way home, Tache is visiting his mother in California and Jay and Julie are "camping" with Julie's family. It is very quiet around here! I am enjoying it, but Sakura is already feeling very lonely. I wonder what the next month will bring our little family!
